Elnara Zilpikarovna Dulayeva is a Candidate of Philological Sciences and a specialist in linguoculturology, pragmalinguistics, and foreign language teaching methodology. Her academic and pedagogical work is associated with the study of speech etiquette, intercultural communication, and the development of linguocultural competence in teaching Turkish and Arabic. In 2003, she graduated from the Faculty of Oriental Philology at Ablai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages. In the same year, she entered full-time postgraduate studies, where she began her research in linguoculturology and comparative linguistics. In 2009, she successfully defended her doctoral dissertation for the Candidate of Philological Sciences degree entitled “Linguocultural Features of Speech Etiquette Formulas in Arabic and Turkish (Based on Greetings and Farewells).” The degree was awarded on December 23, 2009 (Diploma ҒК №0003837, Protocol No. 10). Since 2019, she has been engaged in academic and pedagogical activity at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Department of Turkology and History of the East, where she currently serves as Acting Professor. Her teaching experience in higher education totals 23 years. Following the defense of her dissertation, she has published 20 scholarly articles, including 11 in journals recommended by the authorized national body. Two articles have been published in journals indexed in Web of Science and Scopus with a percentile of no less than 75. Author of the monograph Speech Etiquette Formulas in Turkish and Arabic Linguocultures (Almaty, 2023), the textbook Linguistic and Cultural Studies of the Target Language (Turkish) (2025), and the instructional manual Çağdaş toplumda dil eğitim-öğretimi ve araçları (2016). In 2010, she was awarded a Certificate of Honor from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for her contribution to the development of the national education system. From 2015 to 2025, she served as a jury member of the Republican Student Olympiad in Foreign Languages, and in 2018 she was a member of the appeals committee. Her academic work is characterized by consistency, sustained publication activity, and a strong contribution to the development of national linguistics and language education.
